Welcome to SISTERS IN CRIME Heart of Texas Chapter, an organization for mystery authors and readers. On this website you will find meeting information, links to member authors and information on how to join both the local chapter and the national group.

    The purpose of Sisters in Crime shall be to: combat discrimination against women in the mystery field, educate publishers and the general public as to the inequities in the treatment of female authors, raise the level of awareness of their contributions to the field, and promote the professional advancement of women who write mysteries.
