Patricia Wynn was born in Houston, Texas, and earned a degree in history from Rice University. An author of ten Regency and historical romances, finalist for the RITA from Romance Writers of America as well as other national awards, and a freelance writer whose many articles have appeared in publications such as the Austin American-Statesman, Ms. Wynn is busy at work on her next Blue Satan novel. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband and her two children.

With the highwayman Blue Satan Patricia Wynn has created a masked hero to rival The Count of Monte Cristo, Zorro, and The Scarlet Pimpernel. Together with his true-hearted friend, Hester Kean, he moves from the palaces of earls to the dens of thieves, solving the mystery that alters their lives. Rich in detail and language of the early-Georgian period, this story will transport readers back to an era unrivaled in elegance and romantic adventure.
